Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy describes the principles of processing information about you by us, including personal data and cookies.

  1. General Information This policy applies to the website www.megityourself.com. The operator and personal data administrator is MEGIY Magdalena Pająk, located at Brzegi 71, 32-052 Radziszów. The operator’s email contact address is Megityourself@gmail.com. The operator is the administrator of your personal data concerning voluntarily provided data on the website. The website uses personal data for the following purposes: handling inquiries via forms, providing ordered services, presenting offers or information. The website collects information about users and their behavior through voluntarily provided data in forms, which are then entered into the Operator’s systems, and by storing cookie files (“cookies”) on end devices.

  2. Selected Data Protection Methods Used by the Operator Places for logging in and entering personal data are protected in the transmission layer (SSL certificate). This encrypts personal data and login data entered on the website, which are then decrypted only on the target server. The Operator periodically changes its administrative passwords. Regular software updates are an essential element of data protection, including updates to software components used by the Operator for processing personal data.

  3. Hosting The website is hosted (technically maintained) on the operator’s servers: lh.pl. The hosting company logs server-level information, including specific resource identifiers (URLs – addresses of requested resources such as pages, files), request arrival time, response time, client station name (identification performed by the HTTP protocol), error information occurring during HTTP transaction execution, previous page URL visited by the user (referer link) – in case the transition to the website occurred through a reference link, user’s browser information, IP address, diagnostic information related to the process of self-ordering services via registrars on the website, and information related to the handling of email directed to or sent by the Operator.

  4. Your Rights and Additional Information on Data Usage In some situations, the Administrator has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients if it is necessary to perform a contract concluded with you or to fulfill obligations incumbent on the Administrator. This applies to such recipient groups as the hosting company on a commissioned basis, authorized employees and associates who use data to achieve the website’s goals, and companies providing marketing services for the Administrator. Your personal data processed by the Administrator will not be processed for longer than necessary to perform activities related to them specified by separate regulations (e.g., accounting). Regarding marketing data, the data will not be processed for more than 3 years.

You have the right to request from the Administrator: access to your personal data, their correction, deletion, limitation of processing, and data portability. You also have the right to object to the processing specified in point 3.2 concerning the processing of personal data for the purpose of legitimate interests pursued by the Administrator, including profiling, although the right to object cannot be exercised if there are compelling legitimate grounds for processing, overriding your interests, rights, and freedoms, especially the establishment, investigation, or defense of legal claims. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, about the Administrator’s actions. Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary for the website’s operation. Actions may be taken against you involving automated decision-making, including profiling, to provide services under a contract and for direct marketing by the Administrator.

Personal data is not transferred to third countries within the meaning of personal data protection regulations, meaning that they are not transmitted outside the European Union.

  1. Information in Forms The website collects information voluntarily provided by the user, including personal data, if provided. The website may save connection parameter information (time stamp, IP address).

In some cases, the website may save information facilitating the association of data in the form with the user’s email address completing the form. In this case, the user’s email address appears within the url address of the page containing the form.

Data provided in the form are processed for the purpose resulting from the specific form’s function, e.g., to process a service request or business contact, or service registration. Each time, the context and description of the form clearly inform what it is used for.

  1. Administrator’s Logs Information about user behavior on the website may be subject to logging. This data is used to administer the website.

  2. Significant Marketing Techniques The Operator uses statistical analysis of website traffic through Google Analytics (Google Inc., USA). The Operator does not provide personal data to the service operator, only anonymized information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device. Regarding user preference information collected by the Google ad network, users can view and edit information derived from cookies using the tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/. The Operator uses remarketing techniques to match advertising messages to user behavior on the website, which may give the impression that the user’s personal data are being used to track them, although no personal data are transmitted from the Operator to advertising operators. The technological condition for such actions is enabled cookie support.

The Operator uses the Facebook pixel. This technology causes the Facebook service (Facebook Inc., USA) to know that a registered person uses the website. In this case, it is based on data for which it is the administrator; the Operator does not provide any additional personal data to the Facebook service. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device.

The Operator uses solutions to study user behavior by creating heat maps and recording behavior on the website. This information is anonymized before being sent to the service operator so that they do not know to whom it refers. In particular, passwords entered and other personal data are not recorded.

The Operator uses a solution to automate the operation of the website regarding users, e.g., sending an email to the user after visiting a specific subpage, provided the user has consented to receiving commercial correspondence from the Operator. The Operator may use profiling within the meaning of personal data protection regulations.
